What is livium?

Livium is a new company, based in Vancouver, Canada that’s currently in stealth mode. But when it launches it promises to change the way that real estate professionals market themselves.
From their blog:
It’s about empowering the agent by providing tools that allow her to demonstrate her value; to not just say she’s good (like she does in a 3 x 3 black and white newspaper ad), but to actually show it; to tell her story.
They also promise to embrace new ideas, new technology and new business models to transform the way real estate is currently conducted. “Real estate as God intended.” That’s a lofty goal indeed.
So what exactly is Livium?
My money’s on some sort of blogging-like publishing platform, coupled with an eBay-style rating system. Any other guesses?

How I hate “stealth” mode. I used to be in venture capital and from my experience- they could be doing anything from a RE portal to selling dog food. I love these posts! I think you should start a game of it and let people make wagers on what these companies are. Where the heck do you find this stuff anyway.

Joel – Thanks for having a peek! I would, however, like to emphasize the last paragraph of our blog post that you linked to (because I think it’s important):
“We do not claim that livium currently has all of the answers. In the spirit of cooperation and collaboration, our plan is to launch with a limited set of features, and then listen to you, the user, for your thoughts and ideas about what works, what doesn’t, and what’s missing. We certainly have a vision, but we feel that vision can best be fulfilled with the collective insight from our users. You will have the power to help build an application that will have a positive impact on your business.”
Thanks again, and we’ll be sure to give you (everyone) more info as we get closer to launch.
