I have used vflyer and postlets, and have had some success with Craigslist. I have also had some success with email flyers. I've used several over the years to announce Open Houses, New Listings, Price Reductions, etc. and have found that it does generate some interest. I guess the bottom line for me is, I'm OK spending $120 or so to market my listings if there's a chance that it will be seen by an agent and result in the home being sold. When I get a listing I like to be able to tell my client that I'm going to send an email out to all the local agents announcing the new listing, and send several other emails out until their house is sold. I build it into my Marketing Plan that I give to my clients.

I've been using realtyemailflyers.com and have been pleased with the amount of calls I've received each time I send an email flyer out. They seem to have the largest distribution areas for the lowest price.

Good luck!

Great Post. I have bookmarked VFlyer and will test it out ... Overall this blog has been an great inspiration.

We do work the other way around. First we collect and or produce all the content. Pictures; description; details; youtube clips; ... Then we post it on our blog and only after posting it we start creating buzz on the social media. Digg it; stumbleupon it; bookmark it on del.icio.us. All the new listings also end up on MySpace; FaceBook etc through RSS apps ... If its a special listing I might contact a few people on my LinkedIn account ...

If I see someone who might be interested in the listing on Skype I might send them a short message and link on SKYPE

But new apps like vFlyer and PostLets are supposed to be time savers so I will give them a go and let know the outcome.

Have a nice day
