Negative ads never worked for me (using them or reading them). I would have used a more positve approach. Using Trulia will save you time!

Trulia has some great code for realtors to use in their websites. I just have my reservations about their products. Once a user clicks on the java script, they are redirected to Trulia.com and there goes your sales lead. Think about it.

Hard to measure ROI on that. Branding cost a fortune… I think money would be better spent with direct, targeted marketing to the people you want on the site.

I guess the tag line works in NY city but would have to agree with Chris. I have a hard time believing using a negative slogan like that would work anywhere else.

ahh..the beginning of the end…misguided promotional spending. I was wondering how long it would take. Those smart Stanford MBA guys should know better.
If you’re venture is burning through benjamins, the last thing you should be investing capital in is branding…unless you’re parent company is like Microsoft, Google, Apple..uh…Citigroup, Exxon…yes there is a trend here.
Identify differentiated or yet unfulfilled need, create product to fill the need, sell said product, generate revenue, manage budget model towards incremental margin growth. Not rocket science. And I didnt have to pay for a Stanford MBA.
