The Sky is Falling

That sound you hear is the great web crash of 2007.
More seriously, TechCrunch says a major SF power outage may be to blame for some pretty major sites going down today. Technorati, Netflix (my quuueeeuuue…), Yelp, Alexa and others have been affected. Valleywag, on the other hand, is blaming a drunk employee at the hosting company.
This does have an impact on real estate. Craigslist is still down. TypePad, which hosts many real estate blogger’s sites (and the Inman Blog), is wobbly.
Don’t panic. All will be well…

Hilarious video! I love the guy passing out flyers on the street…. so never mind getting online for a while. Try getting from Russian Hill to South Beach (cross town) for a brokers’ open during a random black out. NOT EASY.
