This is a great topic...I think it may need more than a long string of comments.

I think video will have impact for those that can make good use of it. The two challenges are producing quality content that people want to watch and getting it found on the web.

I have started making some earnest attempts. I think the quality is better than most...but not as good as many. Examples...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYneqYrqBFc
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zzipkd9FNhk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZa0rF5Da8k

This topic should warrant an ongoing forum for information sharing.

Does anyone have experience with tools for uploading videos to multiple sites?

This is a great way to illustrate the differences between the video hosting firms, and I'm glad to see Youtube not taking centre stage for once. Great though it is, of course

I love the vidmeter site. Thanks for mentioning it Shaun. Now there just needs to be a start-up who creates a service which will allow a user to upload a video to multiple sites at once. It is so time consuming to upload a video even to just five sites. Exposure is the name of the game. Video quality is most important to me and WellcomeMat seems to be leading the way. Brightcove has good quality as well.
