More on the Use of Video in Real Estate

The Chicago Tribune did a nice summary of the use of video in selling real estate today and called me for comment. I think it came out pretty well. You can read the whole article here - Sellers shoot for YouTube hits.

Some other mentioned in the article; WellcomeMat and MLPodcast (though not by name - through their partnership with Real Living Helios).

I’ve been tracking WellcomeMat, but have also beeing looking at complete solutions like Splashcast. I like Splashcast because you can imbed PDF, powerpoint, audio, etc. into the RSS feeds and put them as players on your site.

Podcasters have an issue with it because your feed is not protected, so I’m not sure of the better solution.

i’ve posted on this elsewhere on the site, but i merits mentioning again… you can post more than listings on youtube… video is a great way to gain credibility for yourself… agents need to be reminded once in a while that they have incredible amounts of useful knowledge stored upstairs… find ways to share it…

this is a link to a san francisco realtor who started his own weekly newscast
