From Today’s Baltimore Sun - Slow realty market goes high-tech.
Video walk-throughs of homes are also more common - in part thanks to YouTube, which makes it easier to upload the finished product and put it on other sites. YouTube launched in 2005, the last year of the housing boom.“The barriers to entry in terms of producing and distributing video are much, much lower these days,” said Joel Burslem, founder of the Future of Real Estate Marketing blog (www.futureofrealestatemarketing.com). Blogging also has “gotten to the point where it’s really quite simple. … I think it’s worth experimenting with all of this stuff because, at the end of the day, you want to make sure that property moves.”

Video it the way to go! CBS Evening News did a story on real estate videos just last week as a creative way of selling houses that makes your home stand out.
It’s only going to get bigger….

I recommend not only YouTube but Blip.tv (which I prefer) and VideoEgg.

Indeed - Times are changing, and the future or real estate certainly looks like it will be captured with video!
Craig: I loved Blip.tv as well, but they recently began NOT allowing the posting of real estate listings on their platform, due to a ‘no direct advertising’ rule they’ve put in-place (which posting real estate videos apparently violates)! Just thought I should let you know. =]

Technology has put the real estate video tour within the reach of anyone willing to spend a little time and money. I just kicked off a how-to blog for agents wanting to learn how to use video to sell real estate.
See http://full-motionvideotours.net
I think we’ll see more agents doing their own thing with narrated videos. Reason… first Buyer contact is increasingly important and Buyers can hear your voice the first time they see your video.
