We use FireFox all the time as our primary browser. However, if you do your web page design in FF, it is a real pain to always get it to render properly. IE is much more forgiving in this regard. Have not tried chrome yet.

Unfortunately I still have to use IE for MLS and a few other apps, but I’ve been using Firefox for everything I can. I just saw that Comodo has released a browser based on Chrome. I may be checking that out soon.

I am a big fan of Firefox. I believe that it has less problems than the other browsers. It also has a lot of plug ins. You have to add extra code for some videos to show up correctly in IE and it is a headache.

Too bad it’s only a symbolic funeral. IE6 is especially a pain for real estate web site developers who have to spend extra time and money supporting this version. 10% of consumers use IE6, but I suspect the figure is much higher among real estate agents.

Is Microsoft going to end its support for IE6 anytime soon? Seems the funeral was too early – the patient is down but not out.
