You don’t need to be enlighten about this… what you need is to be enlighten on how you ruined a lot of peoples life and start paying them. You left a lot of people homeless because of what you did.

With all the criticism that the iPad gets for what it doesn’t do, I”m surprised that anyone is interested in this thing. Putting aside ethical concerns, this computer ONLY does browsing. Sure it supports Flash / Java, although personally I don’t really miss those.

Also, for me personally, 16×9 is a disadvantage. I prefer 4:3 for everything except watching videos (which I don’t plan on doing a lot on a tablet except maybe on airplanes). 4:3 is much better for email / browsing / everything else. I find it very annoying that all computer monitors these days are optimized for something that they are almost never used for.

I also want a tablet that does a decent job of email (I detest reading my email on web-based readers).

Finally, the App-store is a huge win over this thing. There may not be a lot of useful apps for the iPad at the moment, but I expect there to be a lot of them in the future.

Its nice to see competition out there, although I think there are a lot more credible competitors to the iPad and I don’t see this going anywhere.

I have zero interest in a Windows based tablet, but I am very interested in seeing what Android will bring us in the future.

They probably wont sell very well if it even does launch. It seems like every time a spin off comes out it never really does all that well. Oh well, I guess we will all see.

Yeah, web developers’ use of HTML 5 is going to be GREATLY sped up because of the iPad (and additional iPhone sales).

Haven’t heard of this Joojoo but people will probably stick and wait for Apple to release a new iPad with flash and all other things. That’s how things work.

I will honestly be amazed if the JooJoo is EVER released due to the ongoing fight with TechCrunch’s Michael Arrington over rights of the JooJoo/CrunchPad.

Another thing I would be worried about is continuing support if it ever really is released because of the litigation. I know I won’t buy one (Btw, what the hell kind of name is JooJoo? And people think the iPad name is bad?)

Steve doesn’t allow flash due to a few, simple reasons:

1. App store work-around.
2. Flash is too buggy. Main reason for crashing browsers.
3. Takes too much memory up.

Many BIG players are moving from flash to HTML5. Google is moving that direction. HTML5 is supported by Safari, both on iPad and iPhone. It will be the new norm sooner than everyone thinks. Only problem now is that IE7 and 8 don’t support it yet, without a plug-in, or upgrade of some sort (not 100% sure about that).

Look for HTML5 in the near future. This flash deal on iPad, iPhone won’t be an issue soon.

Oh, and this product is not made by Apple, therefor, I don’t like it as much as the iPad.
