A look at Zillow's Future

From an interview with Zillow’s Vanessa Fox on WebProNews.

A couple of highlights:

  • Zillow’s ad platform is able to target zip codes and eventually price points;
  • It’s building out a recommendations (user generated content) engine to include neighborhood resources, much like Yelp or Citysearch;
  • Zillow is broadening its scope and looking towards neighborhood (local) search;

    Frankly, I don’t see what is so valuable about zillow. The information varies from fairly accurate to laughable, and there are dozens of other sites with more properties to search.
