IPhones are somewhat of a godsend for real estate agents. You can get instant info regarding any listing that you or your clients stumble upon and there are so many time saving apps that are now available. It is kind of tough not to get addicted those wonderful phones.

If used correctly, the iphone is going to change how people use Realtors and how they shop for homes in general. Just by putting a mobile tag on a front yard sign, people could go on a virtual tour of the home, find specs and pricing, then hook up with their Realtor to take that final step inside. So much less paper with no more flyers, and so much less gas for the Realtor to have to burn driving people around to each and every house when they could have taken one off the list just by seeing the tour on their iphone.

I like the iPhone: we can leave the ofiice and We continue with the office in our hands. But there are another good options as Blackberry, Nokia and the new Droid Phones.

Recently I have developed an iPhone app for an important bussiness of real-state where the users (agents or clients) can see and search properties in their IPhones.

Just released the myAgent iPhone app at NAR in San Diego. Realtors already pay for access to an IDX website, so IDX mobile apps should be free (or at least included) w/an IDX service.

Mobile search apps should also provide a way to engage buyers by way of people who download the app and “find” the Agent’s site.

It’s always about LOCAL positioning.
