		<description>This really makes me happy to read Joel - especially the bit about the importance and value of the diversity in the room.  That is one of the key reasons I founded the club - to help people learn from, and meet each other as humans, regardless of our backgrounds.  Meetings with a bunch of podcasters have good value and has its place, I just think these sorts of conversations are a different sort of value that adds perspective to our day to day.  As an old professor told me (stealing from someone else) &quot;always read something from outside your industry at least once a week, it keeps you balanced, well rounded and on your toes&quot;....</description>
