Hi John,

Might help if I clarified how it works. HomeGain is essentially just an advertiser on our site (we're a HomeGain affiliate). Customer can choose to use the HG service or our in-house TotalMove offering.

If you are interested in our TotalMove service offering, i.e. want our help through the process of finding an agent, getting a mortgage, moving etc - then we refer you to our own national network of brokers/agents.

On the private label front, we offer our service to large strategic partners who want to offer it to their customers. But at this stage, not to Real Estate brokers (although we'd probably consider that if we could do it in a way that allowed us to offer objective choice to the customer).

We are 100% dedicated to offering objective choice to our customers and avoiding any type of conflict.

Seems like it would be a conflict of interest. How are they going to private label this to brokers if agents that subscribe to Home Gain are in some way included in the package?

Good resource and timely, as I am just now ramping up (and somewhat dreading).

Thanks for letting the rest of us know about this!

Very familiar. About a year and half ago a company contacted me with the same premise. Online relocation with a high touch model. I'm not sure they're still around, but every time I drive by their office it seems to be awfully quiet. I have yet to see a relocation company be able to make it work on the Internet. We'll see how Total Move does.
