		<description>Google&#039;s custom search engine is pretty neat.  It must bite into their revenue for the Google Search Appliance, though.  Having said that, since ads are 99% of their business, I&#039;m sure they&#039;re more than happy to cannibalize the other 1% if need be.

The only problem I see with the concept is that Google.com&#039;s index (as opposed to Blogsearch.google.com&#039;s index) isn&#039;t usually very up to date on the contents of blogs.  That&#039;s why I haven&#039;t, for the time being, used the &quot;Google Search&quot; widget on my blog.</description>
