Hobbit Living in Bend
From Bend, Oregon comes this unique housing development – The Shire, a Tolkien/Middle Earth themed neighborhood. Bend has exploded with new construction over the last few years, so this is certainly a ‘novel’ marketing ploy that sets them apart from all the other McMansions. I have to give them credit for thinking differently at least, even if I could never see myself buying one.
I wonder if the HOA fees are due in coppers or Gold Pieces? [via Waxy]
